Breathwork - breathing techniques and relaxation
A warm welcome to a session in breathwork, first timer as previous participants!
We meet at Manfrinato Health Center where we meet Josefin (YogiJo) who will introduce us to breathwork. We will be guided through various breathing exercises so that you can explore your breath and experience energy and relaxation at the same time. The session lasts about 75 minutes, followed by a refreshing smoothie.

So what is breathwork?
Breathwork is a collective name for various techniques of breathing exercises. Our breath is like a remote control for our nervous system and the more we get to know it, the better we can use it to accelerate, brake and balance. If you are up to speed, you can relax with your breath and if you need energy, you can breathe into the system.
Effects of Breathwork?
Consciously controlling your breathing has many benefits. It positively affects the nervous system, blood pressure and hormonal system. It can also reduce the amount of stress in the body and at the same time give you a better sense of how exactly you can use your breath to influence your mood.
To think about: You must be able to lie down comfortably. Keep a blanket handy in case you get frozen. Maybe a pillow under the knees and maybe an eye mask. It's YOUR moment, so make it comfortable and relaxed. (carpets, blankets and pillows are available on site to borrow. If you prefer your own things, you are of course free to bring them with you.)
